Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Hardware

Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) systems are typically a "thing".  They range from low-tech paper based communication systems to high-tech computer based systems.  They are the platform, if you will, for the communication software. They also include access to the software.  There are lo-tech communication systems, too.  These systems do not require a "thing".  These systems include gestures (waving, nodding, and pointing) or manual signs (American Sign Language, Sign Exact English, or modified signs).
